Having read her autobiography I don't think she missed anything but it's hard to see the legends go. There's an ever dwindling number left. Her candor was always refreshing.
I've been re-reading stretches of her autobiography and I think what I most enjoy is her honesty; she comes across as someone tough enough to take it on the chin without trying to be more or less than she is.
So sad to say goodbye to another classic Hollywood legend... Shirley Temple, Mickey Rooney, Sid Caesar, Ralph Waite, James Garner, and now Lauren Bacall.
